Miracle Child

This is a story of miracles, both big and small, and the story of one little boy born sixteen weeks early, weighing only one-and-a half pounds.

Nathaniel Wilcox needed a miracle.

He wasn’t expected to make it through the night.

This is Nathanial’s story of his five month journey to survive, and how he touched the hearts of everyone who cared for him. This is the story of how one family managed to overcome tragedy and despair, to find a renewed faith in each other and in God.

A miracle child?
Indeed.

Editorial Reviews

Review

“Miracle Child is just that … an absolute miracle! James Wilcox opens his heart and shares the remarkable story of how his newborn son – in the battle for his life – reached out and touched the hearts of all those around him. Full of detail, inspiration and unconditional love, Miracle Child is truly a beautiful book that will renew your faith.”

“Fear. Despair. Hopefulness. Worry. Anxiety. Love. Apprehension. Anticipation. Courage. Miracle Child, by James Wilcox, is a story of immense love and a battle for life. Weighing only 1.8 pounds, Nathaniel spends five months fighting to survive. This is the story of a family whose faith is tested beyond all comprehension, and comes through the other side with a stronger belief in miracles. A book you will not be able to put down.”

Laura Hewitt, M.A.
“I loved Miracle Child! Thanks so much for telling this story. I would think that any trainee in Neonatology would really benefit from reading it to better understand what the parents are going through. I know that I will never look at NICU parents the same way after reading Miracle Child.”
